We understand that ordering fabric in advance can raise questions, so we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you navigate the preorder process. What is a fabric preorder?

A fabric preorder is a way for customers to reserve and purchase fabric that is not currently in stock. You can secure your desired fabric before it becomes available for general sale.

How does the fabric preorder process work?

First, browse our website to find the fabric you want to preorder. Once you've made your selection, add it to your cart and proceed to checkout. You will be prompted to pay for the fabric upfront. We will then process your order and notify you when the fabric is ready to ship.

 

What are the benefits of preordering fabric?

- Preordering allows you to guarantee that you will receive the fabric you want, even if it is in high demand.
  - You can secure fabric at the preorder price, which is often lower than the regular retail price. (Starting November 2023)
  - It helps us gauge demand and ensure we stock enough fabric to meet our customers' needs.

When will I receive my preorder fabric

The estimated delivery date for preorder fabric varies depending on the product and its availability. Please refer to the product page for an estimated shipping date. Keep in mind that unforeseen delays can occur, but we will keep you informed throughout the process (Starting November 2023)

Can I cancel or change my preorder?

  Preorders are final, and cancellations or changes are not typically allowed. However, if you encounter a problem or need assistance, please contact our customer support team (info@selvedgeandbolts.com), and we will do our best to assist you.

 

What happens if I order other in-stock items along with a preorder item?

If you order in-stock items along with a preorder item, we will ONLY ship the in-stock items when the preorder item becomes available. Additional shipping charges will apply if the in-stock item is shipped before the pre-order item. If you want an in-stock item urgently, it is best to order it seperately.

 

 

Can I combine multiple preorder items into one shipment?

Generally, we will ship each preorder item separately as it becomes available. If you wish to combine multiple preorders into one shipment, please contact our customer support team (info@selvedgeandbolts.com), and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

 

 

What if the preorder fabric is different from what I expected?

We make every effort to provide accurate product descriptions and images. However, if you receive a fabric that differs significantly from your expectations, please contact our customer support team (info@selvedgeandbolts.com), and we will assist you in resolving the issue.

 

 

How can I stay updated on my preorder status?

You will receive email notifications with updates on your preorder, including shipping information and any delays. You can also log in to your account on our website to check the status of your order. (Starting November 2023)
